Below you will find our recommended local accommodation options, along with booking information and useful details to help you plan your stay in Laško. We have included a range of options to suit different preferences, although our main recommendation is outlined below.
We recommend staying at Thermana Laško, where the wedding celebrations will take place. We will also be staying here on the wedding night, so it will be a great opportunity to spend more time together and meet for breakfast the following morning. Staying at the venue means everything is in one place, making the day and evening much more relaxed and enjoyable.
Please note, a standard tourist tax applies to all accommodation in Slovenia, typically €2.50 per adult per night and €1.25 for children aged 7–18. A one-time registration fee of around €2 per person may also apply.
Thermana Laško is a relaxed spa hotel set beside the river and surrounded by green hills, offering modern rooms, excellent facilities, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. As this is where the civil ceremony and wedding reception will take place, we recommend it as the best place to stay.
Hotel Zdravilišče Laško is the other hotel within the Thermana complex, making it a very convenient alternative for guests who would still like to stay close to the wedding venue, as it is only a short walk (approximately 200 metres). It offers the benefit of remaining within the wider Thermana setting, while providing a slightly different style of accommodation.
We have also arranged a special wedding rate for our guests at €79 per person, per night, including breakfast and unlimited access to the pool areas. All other supplements and conditions are the same as for Thermana Laško.

Hotel Špica is another local option in Laško, located slightly closer to the town centre. It offers a recently renovated, three-star standard and is still conveniently located for the wedding, providing a more affordable alternative to staying at Thermana while keeping you close to the celebrations.
The hotel is located approximately 800m from Thermana Laško, which is around a 10–12 minute walk. The route is straightforward, although we would suggest avoiding walking in heels, particularly later in the evening.
